If you know this hotel, the thermostats are easy to operate. However, switching from cool to heat requires a little effort. It's not as simple as a housekeeper brushing against it.
I'd like to know what I did to whomever cleaned my room in this hotel? What did I do to deserve such treatment from the housekeeping team. I am clean. Dirty towels always on top of the bath mat. I put my toiletries away each day because I'm a neat freak -even though I'm staying all week. I smile when hotel associates pass. I say hello to the desk clerk when I arrive and when I leave. I'm even being nice to the front desk clerk this evening during this fiasco.
And I am a Platinum Elite member with Marriott...
I easy only there for a conference so 8 didn't see most of the hotel. The inside was very nice and big and decorated in warm colors. The staff were all very friendly and willing to give out directions
Oh, and did I mention that I stayed at the hotel next door last week. Courtyard. They checked me into a room that had not been cleaned. Then changed my room to another that had coffee spilled all over the desk. Any guesses??? Same owner!
My options: open the window and the door, turn turn the air conditioning on and wait for it to cool. Or, pack up my 4 days worth of belongings and change rooms.
Awful. Well they first put us into a room smelling of mold. I looked into the closet ceiling and it was full of BLACK mold. It looked like they just tried to cover it up with COAT OF PAINT, but it showed thru. They did change me to a one bedroom at no extra cost, but they should have not just tried to cover that up, that is very dangerous
Now, over an hour into this, it's down to 84. I need sleep. I may just have to change rooms. This is rediculous.
We stopped to charge our Tesla on our cross country trip. Enjoyed a cup of coffee and chatted with a very nice young lady.
I arrive back to my room today after working 13 hours to find my room a sweltering 99 degrees. That is correct. 99! The heat was turned on and someone pushed the "up" button all the way up to 99; from the 72 degrees I had it set at this morning.
Nice hotel. Staff was very friendly and there rooms were very clean. Great location next to the mall and airport.
