It's been two and a half weeks since my visit and nobody has contacted me about any of my blood work and nothing has shown up on their "wonderful" online site. Also nobody answers anytime I call.
I understand that most individuals who visit this health unit are already in dire financial straits. Most are in situations in which I will never be able to understand, but to even use these services an individual will need to possess an herculean amount of resolve and resilience as you will probably never encounter such demeaning, disrespectful, and downright unprofessional personnel as you will at this facility. The nurse and nurse practitioner are the sweetest individuals one can meet, but getting to them is an ordeal in and of itself. From the very first point of contact, a phone call, to actually entering the facility itself, you will feel from the clerical staff a general sense of uncaring disregard. Trying to leave a comment about your experience, well that is the reason for this google review. If there is any possible way you can receive healthcare services elsewhere, I implore you to do so. No one, deserves this type of treatment. I am leaving a response of my personal experience, but I will leave it to you to decide if it is true. You have but to call to experience the worst in healthcare that Louisiana has to offer.
They never answer the phone. I called at 4:29 right before closing and I guess they were too in a hurry to go home to answer my call!
Wow! I called to see what time they open for lunch and I wasn't even done with my conversation when the lady hung up the phone! Didn't even ask if that was all I needed or anything. Very very rude!
