My husband has been a patient of his for a few years. I tried calling and setting up an appointment for him today, and the receptionist said that because he hadn't been there in a few years he would be considered a new patient even though his information is still in their system. She proceeded to tell me that they only take one new patient a day, and they wouldn't be able to fit him in for a month and a half. I asked her if there was anything else she could do, since he's not actually a new patient and she said no. It's almost like they're punishing us for being healthy and not having to come to the doctor frequently. I then thanked her and made the comment that I guess I would have to take him elsewhere, but before I could get the words out of my mouth she hung up on me. The whole situation was very frustrating, and I didn't like how rude the woman was either. On a positive note, I was able to call a brand new doctor and have him an appointment within 5 minutes.
I want to say 1st. Dr. Stockstill is a great, great DR. He is very kind and is genuine with his concern. I have started seeing him and he has totally changed my life. With That Said... His staff, with the exception of the nice lady at the PAY window. Not the LOBBY window. The other ladies are very rude and short with you. Mainly it seems like you are hassling them. I am not sure why Dr. S deals with these people. I wont stop seeing Dr. Stockstill as he is great though.
