I received a very thorough examination then to my surprise Dr. Cooksey stated that he felt cataract surgery was not in my best interest. Additionally, it would not make it any clearer for me to see to drive at night (which was my priority). He spent time explaining my options and gave me a somewhat "painful" opinion that my best option was glasses. I doubted this assessment but ordered and started wearing my glasses - to my ever grateful amazement and appreciation, I can see to drive at night and I avoided a more invasive and risky option.
