Drive through a rough neighborhood to get to the zoo. Enclosures are small. Animals are overweight. Infrastructure falling apart. Do not recommend.
Run down, animals seem very unhappy to be there. The main thing this place has going for it is the splash pad for kids. That is the nicest thing about the whole zoo.
This is a really cool small zoo. The staff is really friendly and helpful. For six dollars you can't beat it. Would visit again if I'm in area.
This place was so awesome and more than worth the money! Plenty of animals to see, playground area, splash pad area, train, boat rides, and super friendly staff. We went during their "winter hours" even though it is March so not sure if they allow or do the following things during their peak season-Today I saw people who had brought in an ice chest and snacks. Also I was able to get one of their "fun" strollers for free. We will definitely be coming back!
We loved it! My kids loved the splash pad and play ground so much. We got to take the boat tour and see lots of the animals. Can't believe more people weren't here! It was quiet and relaxing and we stayed for about 5 hours. Prices are good too!
