Good place to work out. They are just missing a dedicated space for their classes which wind up in the walk way or taking up machines for long stretches.
I visit Monroe each year, I live in Germany. I usually stay for a week and go to Planet Fitness for my workouts. This past year I went in and asked if I could sign in (as a guest) as I always do because they will not give me a membership because I am from out of town. This year they declined and told me I had to pay the daily rate of around $27.50 a piece for myself and my girlfriend. I explained that for the past five years they have been allowing me to sign in as I guest, why not now? I was told that they have to enforce the policy. I'm fine with that but hate the inconsistency, so I went to Anytime Fitness and was given a one week membership that gave me 24 hour access to great machines. Anytime fitness has a great crew and are very friendly and professional. I highly recommend Anytime Fitness over Planet Fitness.

I’ve been coming to the Monroe planet fitness since it opened years ago. This is the cleanest, friendliest, and most positive gym environment I’ve ever been in. The manager Steven Chavez is fantastic and really knows how to make the members feel like they belong. Not only has this gym made a world of difference in my life but Steven and all the employees have as well. The environment and staff in the gym are the real difference makers for me. I give the Lamy Lane planet fitness 5 stars and would never recommend another gym over this one. Thanks so much Steven to you and all your staff! I’m grateful for all the memories and improvements I’ve made as a person here.
